ART ARCHIVES

Founded in 2006, The Conscious Voice made history - in print - as the nation's first African American art + culture magazine.  On the web, it grew to be the most exciting place to experience works by artists of color, and thus became the forerunner of Black Art Travel.

The Conscious Voice went off-line in 2021 to be developed into an exciting new major media project!  These pages were lifted directly from the website, so most links, except for those to art museums and external entities, are non-working. Enjoy!
